Indication:Autoimmune premature ovarian failure, Autoimmune polyglandular syndromes (APS). May also be present in other autoimmune conditions like Addison’s disease, Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) or pernicious anaemia.

Steroid cell antibodies can be associated with autoimmune Addison’s disease, premature ovarian failure and premature testicular failure. They are also associated with the autoimmune polyglandular syndrome types 1,2 and 3. Autoimmune endocrinopathy may be seronegative in a minority of cases.
