Collection Conditions / Other Information:Specimen may be passed into a clean, dry, disposable bedpan or similar container and transferred into a blue faeces container. 1-2g is sufficient. No more than one sample in 24 hours. Three samples should be sent over no more than 10 days. Ideally every other day. Perianal swabs are preferred (NOT sellotape!) for the investigation of threadworm. Swabs should be sent for between 4 and 6 consecutive days.
