The target reporting times for reporting Histopathology specimens are determined by capacity, workload and reflex testing. The Turnaround times we aim for are as follows:

The above reporting turnaround times are for guidance only and may be subject to variation in certain circumstances such as if the case is particularly difficult, further diagnostic tests are required or referral to another Hospital Trust may be necessary.
