Informatics Team

We have partnered with Clinisys to implement a comprehensive Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support the development of our pathology network. This procurement is aligned with the objectives and targets of NHS Improvement (NHSI) and the national pathology consolidation programme. The implementation of the new LIMS system sees BCPS laboratory staff and the development team from Clinisys working closely together. For the four Trusts this is the first new IT system in pathology since the 1980s!
